Hey!

My name is Anna, I am 20 years old and in my second year of the International and European Law programme.

I came to Groningen all the way from Washington D.C. where I have lived most of my life. I choose to study at the RuG because of the vibrant student life in addition to the quality of education, and I must say that it was the best decision I could have made! In my free time I enjoy painting, drawing, knitting, hiking and grabbing a drink with friends.

I decided to apply for the SOG Faction out of interest in student government. The University is such a complex and fascinating organisation which student opinions can play very important roles in many different areas. I hope to improve the visibility of student participation opportunities, social safety procedure, and continue to support any students who want to develop themselves in and outside the lecture hall!
