Friso Smedes

As of September 2024, Friso is the Vice Chair of SOG’s Faction in the University Council. Within his activities in the Faction he will focus on the medical faculty, campus Fryslan, University College Groningen, the financial portfolio, and local political organisation.

He has finished his Bachelor’s degree in International Business and is studying Philosophy of a specific discipline at this moment. Additionally, Friso is active in the Think Tank of the municipal party Student & Stad.

In his free time he likes to play piano, play chess, go to the gym as well as visiting classical music concerts.
